Democrats have tried everything to get their message across. They blamed Republicans for the shutdown, said that White House tariffs will steal Christmas, and even dressed up in funny costumes during Saturday’s No Kings demonstration. But nothing has worked.
After falling to a record low in popularity, Democrats now rank below Republicans on the “favorability” index, a sign of their failed kitchen sink strategy.
A new Federal Election Commission survey shows that House Republicans have just broken a record for fundraising. The Democratic favorability ratings dropped two more points to 45%. This is three points behind the GOP which has remained at 48%.

The latest Rasmussen Reports poll shared on Monday with Washington Secrets showed that Democrats continue to struggle in winning men, and Hispanics’ support is stagnant despite the nonstop, violent and peaceful attacks against President Donald Trump’s immigration raids.
The favorability ratings for Democrats are not only close but also a significant drop. Rasmussen said that the intensity of the debate is also changing.
The polling firm said that the overall gap between Democrats and Republicans is still narrow. However, 35% of voters have a “very unfavorable” opinion of Democrats. This is up four points from July.
Independents are also somewhat in favor of the GOP. “Among voters who are not affiliated with any major party, 38% have a positive opinion of Republicans while 32% think the same about Democrats. The new survey revealed that the favorable opinion of Democrats among non-affiliated voters had declined by seven points since last July.
