"Let’s be clear about what just happened: only eleven days before a Presidential election, a federal judge ordered Virginia to reinstate over 1,500 individuals–who self-identified themselves as noncitizens–back onto the voter rolls. Almost all these individuals had previously presented immigration documents confirming their noncitizen status, a fact recently verified by federal authorities.

The Mike Clancy for Congress campaign is shining a light on a troubling pattern of dishonesty by Democrat candidate Suhas Subramanyam, who is seeking to represent Virginia’s 10th District.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, OCT 15, 2024 — Real Clear Polling has reclassified VA-10 race for US Congress between Mike Clancy (R) and Suhas Subramanyam (D) from “lean Democrat” to “toss-up”. Democrat Subramanyam’s favorability has deteriorated as voters have learned that his votes in the Virginia General Assembly do not align with his campaign promises. He supported boys in girls sports, and opposed parents’ rights to opt-out their child from instruction on transgenders, opposed parental access to their own child’s public school medical records, opposed tax relief, and raised utility rates and gas taxes, and opposed the ability of courts to ask about the immigration status of defendants. See Red Virginia News for more detail on Subramanyam’s record. Most recently, Subramanyam’s reputation was badly damaged by his stolen claims of valor. While Subramanyam’s fraudulent claims as a successful firefighter and medic led to endorsements from the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters (VPFF) and Loudoun Career Fire Fighters Association (LCFFA), in fact, he was recommended for termination as a firefighter in 2019 for multiple violations including “loitering”, “loafing”, “carelessness”, “insubordination”, and inability to perform his duties. He was further cited as being “a danger to himself and to others.” The Loudoun County Republican Committee joins Subramanyam’s opponent, Mike Clancy, in condemning Subramanyam’s claim to stolen valor, and calling on the VPFF and LCFFA to rescind his endorsements. The citizens of the 10th District deserve a representative they can trust and who will put their interests first.
