She is now on a mission to ensure that it continues to be alive for all Virginians.
“Seven Quarters” sets a tone for a campaign that is rooted in family, faith and freedom. Virginians will be offered a leader who is a veteran of the American Dream, and ready to fight for it.
The commercial will air today across Virginia’s key markets on cable and broadcast, as well as statewide via digital platforms.
“A dollar 75. “A buck 75” was all dad had when he came to America. For a young girl from Jamaica, this little change was the catalyst for her life. Dad saved every penny he could and brought us legally to America six years later – saving me. I joined the Marines as I was ready to sacrifice my life for the country that has given me everything. I married my husband and started a family.
I managed a homeless shelter and led a prison ministry for men. I also dealt with grief that no parent should have to endure. Winsome Earl Sears. I am not your typical politician, and I will never be. I am a proud Marine, a grandmother, and a first-generation American.
“I’m running for Governor to keep Virginia as the best place to call home in the world.”
