Democratic “Budget Experts” Can’t keep their hands off other people’s money
What you need to know:
Democrat Kyle McDaniel who oversees Fairfax County’s massive $4 billion budget for schools is being sued after allegedly stealing 175k from Blue Label Aviation where he was secretary and treasurer .

McDaniel, even after being confronted and caught, allegedly continued to make unauthorized charges on the company’s credit cards rather than accepting a deal that he would resign without having to pay back the money .
This is the same Democratic School Board that has repeatedly pushed radical policies into schools, attacked parents at meetings who spoke up, and hired expensive lawyers to fight merit-based admissions The Bull Elephant.
This scandal shows everything that is wrong with the education system today: Democrats who pretend to be fighting for your children, but put their own interests before yours, use power for personal gain and spend your tax dollars without any accountability.
We must demand in 2025 better oversight of school districts, electing board members that respect taxpayer dollars as well as parental rights. Not those who think schools exist only to serve political agendas and personal desires.
Now is the time to act.
Sign the FairfaxGOP petition to demand Kyle McDaniel immediately resign the Fairfax County School Board.
We can’t trust someone who faces embezzlement allegations to manage billions of taxpayer dollars.

A lawsuit claims that a school board member from one of America’s largest school districts embezzled $175,000 and used the money to pay for luxuries such as strip clubs as well as to support his election campaign.
Kyle McDaniel, a Democrat, is the chair of the Fairfax County Public Schools’ budget. The school district has a budget of $4 billion.
A previously-unreported lawsuit filed March 13 in Loudoun County court by his employer, flight school Blue Label Aviation, said that McDaniel abused his position as Secretary and Treasurer of the company, with access to its credit cards and bank accounts, to charge “personal expenses related to to personal travel, meals, entertainment and even expenses related to the defendant’s political campaign for the Fairfax County School Board.”
Blue Label CEO Timothy Fischer confronted the defendant in June 2024 about $120,000 of improper charges. “The defendant confessed to the theft and agreed that he would pay back misappropriated funds” – ultimately paying $50,000.
Fischer discovered in December 2024 that the defendant had not stopped misappropriating company funds for personal use. He had also vastly increased his use of company credit cards and accounts for personal expenses. Fischer charged $160,000 for everything from family vacations to meals and charges at local strip clubs and strip clubs in New Orleans.
In April 2010, the Fairfax County School Board attended a conference in New Orleans, and taxpayers reimbursed their expenses.
The lawsuit stated that on January 22, McDaniel confessed to Fischer again and was given the option to resign, without having the money repaid, in exchange for giving up his shares and handing over the credit cards of the company. McDaniel claimed he needed time to consult an attorney, but Fischer terminated him after allegedly seeing more unauthorized charges. Fischer continued to monitor the credit card of the company and observed that non-business related charges were made.
McDaniel was asked to resign by the company board, but he refused, according to the lawsuit, to remove his name from bank accounts. McDaniel deleted all his emails from work and engaged in other “suspicious activities,” the suit added.
The lawsuit alleges embezzlement, misappropriation, and that the company has “been injured to the tune of” $175,000. The suit seeks $175,000 in damages, along with punitive damage of $350,000. It also demands that he surrender his corporate credit cards, and withdraw himself from the company’s bank accounts.
According to the lawsuit, McDaniel owned Commonwealth Aviation. Commonwealth Aviation became a Blue Label subsidiary in March 2023. According to financial records for his school board campaign, Commonwealth Aviation was the third largest funder at $15,369 and all of that money was spent in or after March 20,23.
McDaniel didn’t respond to a comment request.
McDaniel was elected to represent the entire 1.4-million-person county on the all-Democrat Board. His school board biography states: “Kyle McDaniel began his term on January 1, 2020 as a Member at-Large. He started two businesses with his family.” Both companies were shut down in early 2020 due to the COVID epidemic. “With a newborn in the house, he turned to aviation quickly and became a pilot.”
McDaniel is a married white man with two children who was elected to the position with the help of a national organization, The LGBTQ Victory Fund. He claimed he was bisexual.
His biggest donor was the Democratic Party. His second largest donor was school board chairman Karl Frisch . A gay man without children, Frisch held a fundraiser for his campaign at a drag-show, followed pornography accounts in social media and was sworn into office on a copy “Gender Queer”, instead of a bible.
FCPS hired a professional sex counselor who specializes in “navigating non-monogamy” (i.e. polyamory and open relationships), as well as “throuples”, monogamous, swingers etc. The books that were suitable for children were determined by a professional sex therapist who specialized in “navigating non-monogamy (i.e., polyamory, open relationships, swingers, monogamous, throuples, etc.).
McDaniel is the chair of the school board budget committee. Fairfax County faces a $300-million budget deficit after FCPS spent almost $142-million in English as a second language by 2024.
