On foster care and family support, Youngkin’s administration has overhauled systems to prioritize strong families and child safety. Through initiatives like Building Blocks for Virginia Families, investments in early childhood education have doubled, enhancing transparency and quality to give kids the best start.19 Behavioral health reforms ensure kids are safe while families remain strong, shifting from endless processes to measurable outcomes that keep children out of unnecessary placements and reunite them with loved ones where possible.

Veterans, numbering nearly 700,000 in Virginia, receive unparalleled support under Youngkin. The Virginia Veterans Network stands as the gold standard, connecting heroes to resources seamlessly. Youngkin donated his salary to vets, enacted tax relief on retirements, and pledged to make Virginia the most veteran-friendly state.  These pro-veteran policies honor service with real benefits, not rhetoric.

Broadband expansion exemplifies results-driven governance. Since 2022, Virginia built over 185,000 connections—three times more than any other state—leveraging state and federal funds for 100% coverage soon.142 Rural Virginians now access high-speed internet, enabling remote work, education, and telehealth without wasteful duplication.

Infrastructure investments target high-impact projects. Record funding revitalizes Petersburg through the Partnership for Petersburg, slashing crime, creating jobs, and improving education.35 The new Norris Bridge opened eight years early, while rapid response bridges aid flood recovery.33 Bridges and tunnels get upgrades, ensuring safe, efficient travel.

Economic acceleration shines brightest. Virginia secured $156 billion in new investments, provided $9 billion in tax relief, and drove job growth. Deregulation slashed a quarter of regulations, saving $1.2 billion annually and $24,000 per new home.13 LEGO chose Virginia for its $1 billion-plus factory, creating 1,760 jobs after scouting 40 states. Businesses flock here, rejecting high-tax states.

Youngkin’s mantra—results over activity—delivers surpluses, growth, and opportunity. Virginia thrives under this conservative blueprint, proving limited government works.
