Richmond (VA) – Abigail Spanberger’s closest allies, Fairfax County Commonwealth attorney Steve Descano, and Sherriff Stacey Kincaid released another violent criminal, illegal immigrant, back into the community despite his federal firearms conviction and allegations.
Fairfax County officials refused cooperation with ICE, and released the person. This put law-abiding Virginians at direct risk. This is not an isolated case.
Peyton Vogel, campaign press secretary, said: “This is Spanberger’s Virginia. Criminals are free to roam, ICE is ignored and law enforcement is undercut.” When you surround yourself radical allies who are weak on crime like Kincaid and Descano, the consequences will fall directly on your shoulders. Virginians are repeatedly shown by Spanberger that she does not take their safety serious. “This is just one more example.”
This week, three Virginia Department of Corrections (VDC) officers were stabbed by five MS-13 gang members , all Salvadoran illegal immigrants previously convicted of crimes such as murder and rape. This horrific event highlights what happens when criminals illegal immigrants slip through the cracks. It also reinforces the deadly effects of sanctuary policies embraced and supported by Spanberger.
Winsome Earle Sears, Lieutenant Governor, has consistently worked to end sanctuary polices, restore full law-enforcement cooperation with federal immigration authorities and hold local officials responsible when they put political agendas before public safety.
