The American Hindu Coalition (AHC), a non-partisan organization dedicated to strengthening America through Hindu enlightenment principles, has taken a historic step in endorsing Junaid Khan, a Pakistani American cybersecurity expert, father, and Loudoun resident, for the Virginia House of Delegates in District 27.
This marks the first time the coalition has endorsed a candidate of Pakistani origin — a move community leaders call unprecedented and emblematic of the AHC’s mission to prioritize shared values over old divisions.
“For too long, political endorsements have followed the lines of ethnicity or national origin,” said Srilekha Palle, speaking on behalf of the coalition. “The American Hindu Coalition stands for a stronger America built on limited government, strong national defense, individual responsibility, and Hindu enlightenment values. Junaid Khan embodies these principles in action. As a cybersecurity expert, father, and community leader, he brings integrity, discipline, and practical solutions — not empty politics.”
The endorsement signals a new chapter for the AHC, which has historically supported Indian-origin candidates. By backing Khan, the coalition demonstrates its belief that conservative values, commitment to community, and a vision for a safer, stronger America rise above historic rivalries between India and Pakistan.
Coalition leaders emphasized that Khan’s priorities — safer streets, stronger schools, and accountable governance — align closely with the concerns of American Hindus and the broader community. His candidacy, they said, represents the kind of principled leadership needed to unite Virginians and move the Commonwealth forward.
