Charlottesville realtor Ben Cullop made a $2,500 donation on May 18, 2026, to the Virginia Future Generations PAC. The contribution appears in campaign finance records for the Democratic leadership committee.
Cullop works as a partner at Usonian Realty in Charlottesville. He previously ran as a Democratic candidate seeking the nomination for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District in 2018 before withdrawing from the race.
The Virginia Future Generations PAC supports Virginia Democratic candidates, including Don Scott. The committee has received millions in contributions since 2022 from major donors such as Dominion Energy, which gave $1.84 million, the Sports Betting Alliance with $475,000, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters contributing $255,000, and Democracy PAC II providing $250,000. Additional large donors include Scott for Delegate – Don and Government That Works PAC.
Records indicate Cullop has made other political contributions in Virginia, including a $5,000 donation in 2026 to United for Virginia’s Future PAC. His employer background ties to the real estate sector, listed under the realtors industry in state donation databases.
The PAC maintains cash on hand of over $363,000 as of recent filings and has reported expenditures supporting its aligned candidates and initiatives. Virginia election reports track these transfers through the Department of Elections system, showing the May 18 timing alongside other contributions to the committee from individuals and organizations.
This donation adds to the committee’s total receipts exceeding $7 million since its formation. Cullop’s involvement follows his earlier Democratic primary effort in the 5th District against then-Republican incumbent Tom Garrett.
