On November 1, the Biden/Harris administration will impose a new rule forcing states to provide free health care to illegal aliens. Each state would subsidize the cost of the free health care through taxpayer dollars.
Virginians already struggling with the high cost of food, housing, and basic necessities due to the worst inflation in 40 years, will now be forced to fund the healthcare of those who are here illegally.
The Biden/Harris administration is enabling free healthcare to illegals by redefining what it means to be “lawfully present.” By changing the definition to include aliens who have been granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, Biden/Harris make DACA recipients eligible to receive taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits through the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare).
Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares has joined a 15-state coalition in filing a lawsuit to stop the Biden/Harris plan to illegally extend ObamaCare benefits to illegal migrants. The lawsuit contends that the proposed new definition directly contradicts US law that only US citizens and those lawfully present in the country are eligible to participate in subsidized health exchanges. Because DACA recipients are not lawfully in the US, they are categorically ineligible for these public benefits.
Free transportation. Free housing. Free legal services. Free tuition. Now free health care. Illegal immigrants are offered an array of taxpayer funded benefits. Free health care is ust the latest example of how the Biden/Harris administration gives preference to illegals over taxpayers.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, 2.7 million illegal immigrants have been released into the country by the Biden/Harris administration since January 2021. Additionally, since 2021, there have been 1.5 million “got-aways” individuals observed entering illegally but not stopped. Total illegal immigrant population is now estimated to be as high as 12.8 million. Taxpayers are funding an estimated $42 billion in free benefits to illegals.
