Trump has focused his attention on immigration throughout both his presidential campaigns and during his time in office. His handling of this issue has high approval ratings. Americans also approve of his deportation policy. Trump had an advantage on the issue of immigration when he ran in 2024. He was up against either Vice President Kamala Harris or President Joe Biden. No surprise then that many of Trump’s victories had to do immigration.
