Exactly one month after the Democrats held a primary for Virginia’s 10th U.S. Congressional District, political signs remain in Loudoun County’s public spaces.
The signs are for an ultimately unsuccessful primary for Virginia State Senator Jennifer Boysko and are funded by pro-abortion group REPRO Rising Virginia.
In one strange juxtaposition, pro-abortion signs are still up at an elementary school as children prepare to start school. Red Virginia News visited a local elementary school in Democrat supervisor Juli Briskman’s Loudoun County district on July 18, 2024 and found the signs still in place.
Juli Briskman has posted pictures of herself with the signs at another nearby school.
The group’s mission is to build “political power for pro-reproductive freedom”. In Loudoun, this appears to translate to supporting Democrat candidates by putting signs at elementary schools.
Briskman posted several times to her Twitter account about canvassing with the organization. She also posted photos of her with the signs at what appears to be a school in her district.
A Twitter account belonging to the Loudoun County Republicans alerted the Loudoun Democrats, Juli Briskman, and Jennifer Boysko to the signs on July 5, 2024. Neither Briskman or Boysko responded.
