Governor Youngkin signed an EO on Wednesday, August 7th, to ensure voter ballot security, counting machine testing and certification, and certification of accurate voter lists to include removing ineligible voters.
In his news release, Governor Youngkin, stated, “This isn’t a Democrat or Republican issue, it’s an American and Virginian issue. Every legal vote deserves to be counted without being watered down by illegal votes.”
Election related offenses, including illegal voting and registrations, is a criminal offense under Title 24.2 Chapter 10 of the Code for Virginia.
