Anne Donohue

Anne Pogue Donohue is an at-large member of the Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia. She assumed office on January 1, 2024. Her current term ends on January 1, 2028.

Donohue ran for election for an at-large seat of the Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia. She won in the general election on November 7, 2023.

Anne Pogue Donohue was born in Carbondale, Illinois. Pogue Donohue earned a bachelor’s degree from Hollins University in 2002 and a J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2005. Her career experience includes working as an attorney and adjunct professor of legal writing at George Washington University Law School.

Anne Donohue has been affiliated with Loudoun Moms Demand Action, Loudoun NAACP, Loudoun Chorale, St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, and the Loudoun County Democratic Committee.[1]

Only three days after being elected to the Loudoun County School Board, it was made public that Leesburg resident Anne Donohue (At-Large) resigned from her Department of Justice job after the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) found her to be in breach of the Hatch Act.
