While in the Virginia General Assembly, Subramanyam sitting on the Democrat-controlled Senate committee for Courts of Justice, blocked legislation that would charge drug dealers with felony homicide if they distribute fentanyl to someone who dies after taking the drug. Subramanyam voted to protect criminals rather than victims and their families. He’s running to represent voters from Virginia’s 10th congressional district.
