Skill Game Operators PAC Makes $10,000 Contribution to Defend Virginia PAC

VA Operators for Skill, a political action committee representing operators in the skill games industry, contributed $10,000 to Defend Virginia PAC on June 11, 2026. The donation adds to the committee’s ongoing involvement in Virginia campaign finance. VA Operators for Skill has reported total contributions of $272,500 and expenditures of $276,000 in recent data. The group maintains a cash on hand balance of $23,862.

Defend Virginia PAC directs support toward candidates in state races, including contributions to Jones for Attorney General. The skill games sector operates electronic machines that have faced regulatory challenges in Virginia, with the industry maintaining active participation in political giving. Records show VA Operators for Skill has extended donations to approximately 30 incumbent legislators in prior cycles. These contributions have gone to candidates across party lines in roughly equal measure. Specific recipients have included Lamont Bagby and L. Louise Lucas.

The PAC has also received major funding from entities such as Pom of Virginia LLC, which provided $250,000. Additional individual and company donors to VA Operators for Skill include East Coast Amusements LLC, Michael Barley, State Amusement Company, David Brizzolara, and Matthew Pascal. Industry-affiliated efforts have totaled hundreds of thousands of dollars in Virginia political contributions over multiple years.

The June donation reflects continued engagement by skill game operators in supporting PAC structures that back state-level candidates. Virginia election records track these activities through the Department of Elections, providing transparency on all such transfers. The contribution fits within broader patterns of industry participation in Commonwealth politics.
