The Department of Education released a new portal on Thursday called “End DEI”, which allows parents, students and teachers to report discrimination in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion to the federal government.
EndDEI Portal Users are asked to identify their school, school district and zip code. They can also provide up to 450 characters to “describe as fully as possible” any discrimination that may be taking place.
The portal website says: “The U.S. Department of Education has a commitment to ensure that all students can access meaningful learning, free of divisive ideology and indoctrination.” This submission form allows students, parents and teachers to report discriminatory practices in educational institutions.
The “community Submissions” are then used as a possible basis to launch civil right investigations into the school district or school.
EndDEI will transform the parents’ rights movements, anti-DEI and anti-indoctrination of the last several years into a whistleblower campaign that aims to eliminate discriminatory practices from public education. The Education Department also states that it will “maintain the confidentiality of the submissions to full extent allowed by law.”
The portal was launched after the Education Department quickly began investigations into school districts that may be discriminatory. Some of these violate Title IX protections for civil rights on the basis of gender and others violate civil rights on the basis race.
Trump plans to punish any school district refusing its executive orders or guidance regarding the elimination of DEI.
In a press release from the Department, Tiffany Justice, cofounder of Moms for Liberty , said that parents have asked schools for years to teach their children practical skills such as reading, writing and math instead of critical theory, rogue sexual education, and divisive ideology. But their concerns were brushed aside, mocked or completely shut down. Parents, it’s time to share receipts for the betrayal in our public school system. This page shows that the Department of Education under President Trump is giving parents more power.
The Education Department launched Title IX investigation into the entire state of Maine as well as the five Virginia school districts in recent weeks for a number of gender-theory based policies, such as allowing boys in girls’ sports or allowing them to use girls’ private facilities as long as they identify as a gender other than their own.
